Our Favorite Equine Links and Resources

At Grey Haven Acres, we believe that success in horse care, breeding, and development isn’t achieved alone—it takes a community. Over the years, we’ve partnered with professionals, farms, show venues, and friends whose work has directly supported the health and happiness of our horses.

This page is a curated list of our most trusted equine resources, people we’ve worked with, and places we believe in. Whether you’re looking for a vet, a weaning facility, a show venue, or just great horse-related content—these are the links we always return to.

Our mares
Vixxen and Hadley came from Sovereign Farms, a respected breeder known for producing elegant, trainable horses with European sport lineage.

Sovereign Farms played a key role in the early lives of some of our most beloved horses. Their commitment to thoughtful breeding and early development aligns beautifully with our own mission. We’re proud to carry on their legacy here in Prescott, AZ.

Horse Shows and Training—In the Ring and Beyond

Freeman Farms and Equistar Horse Shows

🖱️ Visit Freeman Farms
Freeman Farms has long been a cornerstone of the local
Arizona equestrian community, and their Equistar Horse Shows have offered our horses a space to shine, grow, and compete.

Many of our sale horses—including Sir Renity (Moose), Zoolander, Cooper, and Vixxen—were shown here, often bringing home ribbons in hunter/jumper and in-hand halter classes. The friendly yet professional environment has made it an ideal stepping stone for both young horses and riders alike.

💬 "A great venue where our horses gain real-world show experience."

Early Development—Supporting Young Horses With Care

G Mystical Horses

🖱️ Visit G Mystical Horses
When it comes time for
weaning or early groundwork, we occasionally work with the experienced team at G Mystical Horses. Our filly Benecia GHA (BamBam) spent time there during her weaning phase, benefiting from a setting designed to gently transition young horses toward independence.

G Mystical Horses provides a calm, experienced environment that helps foals learn boundaries, confidence, and trust—all critical foundations before returning to the ranch for future training.

💬 "Used at times for our weaning facility (Benecia GHA was there for a while)."
